The trans-pacific partnership agreement (TPP) formally signed on February 4. 12 countries including the United States, Japan, Australia, brunei, Canada, Chile, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam signed the TPP agreement, in after signing the agreement will promote the TPP, locally based on free trade agreements. Agreement covers countries accounted for a third of the total global trade.
We believe that the TPP can bring advantages for Vietnam textile and garment industry. At present, the United States 17-32% on Vietnam garment import tariffs, the TPP will enjoy zero tariff after signing the agreement, and the United States a 10-20% tariff on Chinese clothing imports. In addition, Vietnam and other TPP members of garment products need to comply with the rules of origin - "to" from yarn to ? - raw materials such as cotton yarn
